Over the last couple of years a lot of the froth has blown off E-commerce. Many investors fell for the hype of the flashier "dot coms" without checking out the business plans, and got their fingers burned.
Now established businesses and a second wave of dot com entrepreneurs are coming to terms with a new range of design, security, legal and financing problems. The Government has chipped in with a target of making the UK the best place in the world for e-business by 2004. But just as important are the adaptions that we need to make at our workplaces.
